The hotel completed a $72 million expansion and renovation in 2000 to maintain its position as a major convention facility and tourist attraction. The Hyatt Regency Dallas has 1,122 rooms and 160,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel also has an underground connection to Union Station and offers guests convenient access via light rail to various parts of the city. Centennial Cafe, a southwestern restaurant is located in the hotel's atrium and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Monduel's is the hotel's atrium bar. Parrino's Oven serves Northern Italian dishes including signature pizzas from a wood-burning oven. Antares is the revolving restaurant atop Reunion Tower. Antares features New American cuisine and offers incredible views of the city for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. The Dome is the bar atop Reunion Tower. Coffee's Post is a specialty coffee store open daily and serves coffee products and light fare including sandwiches, salads, pastries, fruits and other snacks.
